Samsung Electronics Releases Series 7 CHRONOS in Korea Early January

Samsung Electronics is set to tap on the premium notebook market in Korea with a high-performance notebook: Series 7 CHRONOS.

Series 7 CHRONOS was initially unveiled at IFA 2011 held in Berlin last September, attracting a lot of attention from local media and viewers. It is also highly anticipated in overseas markets such as the US and Europe.

The most attractive feature of Series 7 CHRONOS is its ultra-fast data processing speed realizing in Quad Core i7 CPU, 1 TB HDD and various speed solutions including Samsung’s original Fast Starter technology based on Diskeeper’s Express Cache: It wakes up from sleep mode in two seconds and internet speed is also doubled up.

Other features include Max Screen minimizing bezel width, 8GB flash memory, 300 nit Super Bright display, 8 hours long battery based on Samsung’s Battery Life Plus technology in a compact design aluminum body.

It is scheduled to be available from Jan 3 in Korea with prices ranging from 1,790,000 to 2,000,000 Won according to model specs.
